A safe, prepared rider is a confident rider. Athletes are responsible for arriving with working equipment, enough water, the right clothing, and basic repair supplies.

Athletes should ride a safe, well-maintained mountain bike with:

What to Carry on Every Ride

Every rider should be able to handle a basic trailside flat and carry the supplies necessary to return to the trailhead.

Spare tube
CO₂ inflator and cartridges or hand pump
Tire levers
Sealant
Master link
Chain breaker
Mini first-aid kit
Backup light
Snack and electrolytes
Extra AXS battery, if applicable

We will have lessons on how to do this, and coaches can help. No experience required.

Before You Leave

Pre-Ride Checklist

Run through this before every practice:

Is my helmet packed?
Are my lights charged?
Are my tires inflated and my brakes working?
Am I dressed for the weather?
Do I have water?
Do I have basic tools?
Have I confirmed attendance in Flysport?
